Wizkid sets another record as he becomes the most awarded Nigerian at the BET Awards.

Wizkid BET Most Awarded Nigerian

In a night of celebrating black excellence, packed with amazing performances, Wizkid bagged his third BET Award making him the most awarded Nigerian Artiste in the history of BET Awards, which was celebrating its 20th year. His work with Beyonce, Saint Jhn and Blue Ivy on ‘Brown Skin Girl’ earned him the award as the song won BET’s HER Award.

Wizkid has also won the award for Best International Act twice – first in 2012, then later in 2017.  He was the first Nigerian to win the award twice, then Davido, and now Burna Boy.

Other big winners of the night were Zimbabwean artiste Sha Sha who won Viewer’s Choice Awards: Best International Act, Megan Thee Stallion who won two awards – Best Female Hip/Hop Artist and Viewer’s Choice Awards for ‘Hot Girl Summer’ and Roddy Rich who won Best New Artist and the Album of the Year Award.

Artistes like Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Rich, John Legend and more gave stunning performances, but not to worry if you missed them. You can catch the repeat of the BET Awards on BET Africa (DStv Channel 129) at 7 PM tonight.
